Kurt Vlach lives in Vienna Austria, and has been active in the Cat fancy since 1991, showing with FIFe, CFA and latterly TICA.

He has shown and bred Maine Coons, Siamese and Oriental Shorthairs under the "Dreamhunter" cattery name with TICA and CFA, and "Skywalker" with FIFe.

Kurt is an Approved All breed TICA judge, is the Founder and President of the Blue Danube Cat Club and is currently the Deputy Regional Director for Austria.

In a life away from the cat fancy (yes he has one !) Kurt works as a Process Manager in the Security Investment Department of Austria's biggest bank. He also enjoys music (especially Opera) Golf and Japanese Art.
